Posting this as you guys might be interested.
Hurricane season already started, but nothing had surfaced.... until...
....

So, we're into the waiting game.
What usually comes after this, is to be perceptive to the latest developments in the storm.
If it suddenly becomes a hurricane (I see it likely), then we watch it... is it coming towards us? Straight through?
Is it moving above us (Atlantic)?
Or is it moving below us (Caribbean)?
In any event, people usually start to intensely stock up in supplies somewhere around today.
Water. Batteries. Food. Gas/diesel for generators. etc. etc.
We're not looking forward to this, but let's do what has to be done.
Let's see how this goes! :)

Pffft.
What you need is:
A. Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick the hurricane in the face.
B. Charles Bronson to beat the hurricane with a sock full of quarters.
C. Post Hillary Clinton's face on a billboard.

A. Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick the hurricane in the face.
That won't help. Hurricanes are actually Chuck Norris doing multiple roundhouse kicks.

He could do a reverse round house kick and neutralize the original. Or cause the earth to implode.

UPDATE:
I'm fine, and Puerto Rico is fine.
Dean went under us (south of the island).
The most we got was rains and winds during Saturday and Saturday/Sunday.
Now yesterday during the afternoon, it was a full-fledged beach day over here. Sunny, calm winds... no clouds. Go figure. =\
Dean picked up speed and power and hit Dominican Republic, Haiti, and really messed up with Jamaica.
I hope Cuba will do well, and all the other affected areas.
Thanks for the kind words and the laughs guys.
[[ps Bucko: "we're moving your island" ROFLMAO]]
And, next weather update needed, I'm contacting Computer Geek.
Jesus! 3D animations and all! Wow!!!
Random Fact::: The word "hurricane" is derived from the spanish word, "huracán", which the spaniards derived from a word of the native Taino indians of the island of Puerto Rico. The Tainos didn't 'read and write' per se, so I don't know how they 'wrote' huracán.
But I figure that it was a normal rainy day for them, when suddenly, winds picked up and chickens started flying. Waves started crashing, and some crazy local surfers ran towards the shore screaming 'HURRACAN!!! HURRACAN!!!' at the top of their lungs.
I'm guessing that was their weather 'updates'.

hurricane (plural hurricanes)(Many variant spellings.)
1. A severe tropical cyclone in the North Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, or in the eastern North Pacific off the west coast of Mexico with winds of 75 miles per hour (120.7 kph) or greater accompanied by rain, lightning, and thunder that sometimes moves into temperate latitudes. Variant names given to the same type of storm in other areas of the world include typhoon (eastern Asia), cyclone (India), willy willy (Australia), and baguio (China Sea)
(Taken from Wiktionary.org)
Such as when my parents find out I didn't go to classes today. I tried and failed and now the door in my truck is ****ed up...
But yeah, good luck with the hurricane.
