If I only had the spare cash right now, I would snatch that up in a heartbeat.

Why only one picture?

I'd take a picture of the screen to prove it's working, and a shot of the software disks. People like to see images of the product. Well at least i do.

Greco...
PM/Email me the exact condition of the laptop. If all works reasonably well and it's not stolen (which I doubt it is anyways), we'll give you 200$ for it, since I need a laptop for school this year (going to a technologically oriented high school has a few downsides).
Thanks,
Omega

I put up another pic where you can see the Dell disks in the reflection.
The software is semi legit... my buddys dad's company buys the business versions I guess (either that or a hell of a lot of copies) of software like that... he brought them home for me to install then took them back.
Omega, I'd love to help you out man but I am trying to get as much out of it as I can because I'm trying to save up for surgery on my ear which isn't covered by insurance. You can bid anyways and you may win it, I'm not sure how much the dead onboard sound will scare people; personally it's not a big deal at all considering laptop speakers suck ass haha.

Greco, considering the condition and age of that laptop, 200$ flat is probably a really good deal for it. I doubt you'd get much more. Hell, I could probably talk my mom into 250$ just to help you out. We'd both be winning here.

With selling on ebay though, you have to pay all the fees, you are probably better off selling outright if someone is willing to buy it.

Yeah, but going through eBay means that if one side falls through the other side can place a complaint or whatnot and get compensation.
Example:
I advertise to sell a bolt. Somebody buys it for 5$. They get... a picture of a bolt. From here...
on eBay, They file a complaint, either get a refund or a bolt, whereas if we did it through email or something they couldn't file a complaint with any official organization or something, meaning that I just scammed them
basically eBay protects the buyers from getting scammed and is a big enough source that sellers can get their product out there and sold.

Well canceling it would cost me then to re-list it with a buy it now would cost me more. I'd like to let it run through otherwise I'd be losing about 30 bucks in the end. On average these laptops with 2.4ghz/512ram run about 350 with no software so I'm hoping all my software will make up for the sound problem. One just went for almost 500 but I'm not sure why... I must have looked over something very important. I thought I watched it but didn't :o/

Was just my opinion. The stuff I have to sell isn't worth having to pay someone a percentage of each dollar made. When I looked at that I started laughing.

Cool mom
Well, like I said I was hoping the extra software would compensate for the dead on board sound and get in the ballpark of 250-350.

Well, I guess we'll see in... 6 days or so. =/

somebody might as well lock this thread or something, because the laptop is sitting behind me in a nice hard aluminium case, so...

I have to admit, running VNC server on my desktop, turning the speakers up really high then going into the living room with the laptop and controlling it via VNC and playing music is amazingly fun.
