Next Microcenter MOD Contest

Hello All,
The next Microcenter MOD Contest is scheduled for Saturday September 15 with an "open" AKA "Extreme Case Mod" theme.
Registration will be from 10AM until Noon. Voting will end at 6PM and the winning announcement will be at 7PM. There will be 2 winners. A popular vote and A managers vote, each will receive a $250.00 Microcenter gift card and have there pictures take with there cases and displayed at our Knowledge Bar.

I wish I had a Microcenter near by... :(. I'm one of 3 people I know of around here who has built their own computer. And one of 2 that has ever used Linux...

Maybe I should just move. I mean damn, a $250 gift card? That would own so hard... Hmmm, actually, now that I think about it... Our school has LANs every now and then.. maybe if I go to one with my computer and show it off, maybe more people will start modding, and then with more and more people doing it, we could have competitions at the LANs... Oh would that own too. Even if there weren't any prizes.

I won the public vote and received a $250 gift card. I spent it all of course because I live 3 hours away. I got a micro atx case for my server, Bioshock, C&C Tiberium, a slim keyboard and the Logitech MX Revolution mouse. 250 didnt go very far with me lol.

hmm, i wonder if it's just that micro center in NJ that has that monthly competition. I wonder if the one in California does the same thing. that would be sweet. imagine if i went all the way from CA to NJ just to go look at the pc's. wow..only if i had the cash.

Sorry guys, no pics. I forgot my camera at home but the manager said he would email me a couple. Ill wait and see though. I have to email him my video I made for the project so maybe he will remember then. Thanks for the support everyone, i wouldnt have won without it. Oh, I did mention the forum to everyone that I talked to so hopefully we can get a few more members and people that enjoy modding. "Fingers Crossed"
