It's part of the rep system, once you are in negative territory, your reps don't count (positive or negative), it just comes up as a grey box.

I've had my fun now. Minty is back to normal.

I give advice and attempt to crack jokes (although many people don't seem to notice, but they probably just laugh and move on, lol) for my rep... seems to be a fairly reasonable method in my opinion, that and I don't have the time nor the cash to mod... which sucks, but college is what's in store for the next few years, we'll see. I"m planning on saving up for a new rig that I want to mod a case for in the next few years, so we'll see what happens.

Okay then, that last Rep Box will be the new target. Any regular members who manage to max out their rep like that get some kind of prize. Any ideas Jon? A bigger PM box isn't too much of an issue, but maybe a bigger incentive like being able to post attachments on the forums?

How about becoming an honorary mod, if your not already one that is. After all, if you get that many +reps, I think you pretty much deserve it. Hmmm, but its also true that the only people likely to get it, are already mods. Hmmm.

I think it would be kind of cool to be able to change the background color of the section of your post or something like that. If that makes sense. Just to have that extra shove "hey, look at me, I'm special and your not" into peoples faces. lol

Maybe be allowed to have an avatar or something? or maybe be allowed the option of having animated sigs or something like that?

Just tossing out a few idea's, maybe they'll spark another. ^_^

I like Snow's idea, only problem with the mod one is some people can get 20 or more rep points in a day just for posting a funny video :neutral:. They can have a ton of rep but not necessarily nice/helpful/etc.

Medals for writing a review, a medal for writing a tutorial, a medal for maxing your rep, and a medal for winning a Modder's challenge...me and Jon have been talking about this in the Staff Forums, but we decided to leave it to a later date. Now that's there's more than one medal idea, I could write a mod for VBulletin that handles medals.

What do you guys think? Suggest some more medals, like 'Featured Worklog' Medals, and let me know what you think of the idea. That way, above simple Rep, we can see what each member contributes to TBCS.
