Hello, all.
So i broke the lens assembly on my camera. It was a concord eyeq 3040af. Now I am trying to figure out what to do with it. First thing that came to mind was to use the screen for a case mod/other DIY project.
I have no pics, but the screen is 1.6", and is made by Casio.
Across the bottom of the screen is printed: Casio 3. on a sticker it says: 3I16TD168481. I tried googling it, but to no avail. It seems the camera is too old and obscure for any sites to be still up about it.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this device/screen?
If not, as i suspect the case may be, does it seem like i could use a Camera LCD at all? I know Laptop LCDs are difficult to use, but i have a working circuit board that interfaces with the screen. So is there a way to get that to work with a computer?

Thank you for the help in advance. And sorry for putting up a "will this work..." post. i know we n00bs get annoying.

you'd have to program a driver to make it work through usb. since I imagine the interface uses usb to communicate with the computer, as usual with these things, it's possible and probly a step in an easier direction, but not that much easier.
