Ok, so i found a great monitor, only $30US on ebay.

Not bad. resolution is a bit junky but doesnt bother for what im doing.
Overall, this unit also has audio which makes the circuit board a bit larger. just enough to my original idea was to replace the aerocool lcd. That was scrapped. I am now getting a acrylic piece bent for me so I can make a unit to hold the monitor and PCB. in the meantime, i found out that the uGURU program runs off of XML... YAY! easy to edit! So i setup the small monitor as monitor 3 and made the resolution 640X480 and designed the interface to fill that screen.

So here is my new interface: hope you like!

Also uGURU does transparency which the skull background is just my wallpaper. Once I have the housing made, I will send more pics.

Oooh, p.s.

once this mod is done, the Aerocool powerwatch will be up for grabs. I MIGHT be keeping the card reader internals for the new component.

Nice, Ive always liked the lcd mounted on computer idea.. wanted to do it myself, but then theres that money thing that always seems to put me back to my senses that I happen to be something called broke lol. Intrested to see this when its mounted, looks like itll match the case theme well

:UPDATE:

got the plexi.. and monitor mounted only issue is wiring the power input, video output and power switch to make the more accesable.

I will post some sketch up pics of my progress since i have no camera.

The Green are on the back is where the PCB is going. But i need to make a small frame to hold it. I have gotten some 1" tie straps from home depot for 80 cents which will work perfectly. I will also be putting a power switch on the front. and re wiring the output and power input to point out the rear instead of the side of the PCB.

Also, I did not cut a hole in the plexi. It is clearly visable through it and I though it made it more concealed look. otherwise all you see is a plexi with 4 screws until its turned on. I have also rigged it so it does stick out about 1/8" so allow air to come in around it. There is some microchips that get hot and i might make a heatsink to help cool it off.

Also, do you guys think i should also make a fan on the rear to pull air into the case and across the PCB?
