Large scale models

Hi people, another pointless question from the master.....

Anyone know where I can buy 1/5th scale model cars?

Or even just the bodyshell from an RC one?

I'm looking for ideally a kit (like airfix kinda thing), but at this point anything will do.

Google doesn't seem to be helping here much, just wondered if anyone here has any ideas?

ya, 1/4 or even 1/8 scale models/r/c are going to run a bit of cash, look at online auctions though and see if you can find something that says "parts" and sometimes you may find the body in decent shape for next to nothing due to missing parts, I've had some success in this, I have a few kits in storage till I have workspace to build my supercar :-P although I will be investing in a overpowered gas motor, and a block of metal to keep the front down, fun fun, have fun though! sounds like you're in for a blast when you find what you want.

I've had a PC mod in mind for a while now, just kinda hinges on finding a big enough model car body ('cos my model making skills aren't the best).

Oh well, the hunt continues.....
