styrene plastic

hi guys ,
I am really desperate to find some styrene plastic . I see this used in many projects and seems to be easier to cut and shape than my normal materials. I have been looking for this "plastic" for a while now and it completely eludes me:? I cant seem to find it anywhere. Everyone else has it and apparently knows where to get it. I live on the east coast in the states and pretty much everywhere I have been i kinda get the dazed and confused look when I mention the words "styrene plastic" ?????? I have checked home improvement stores , hobby shops...nothing.is there any other names that this stuff goes buy that might make it easier to find? Any advice would be nice. Today I am going to pick me up my first air brush :banana: ..and I will check @ the hobby store . I figured a good project to learn how to use the air brush would be to make a complete set of fake PC parts out of styrene plastic and paint them. then I could used them to mock up my new PC case....PLEASE HELP ME ...

You might want to check a train, or railroad modeling shop.

Just buy it online. It'll probably be a lot cheaper than if you can actually find it near you. I highly recommend US Plastic.

i'd say local stores. i have a store near me that carries a varity of plastruct items starting at 5 bux for .20 sheets (7 PK) plus there's no shipping fee!!:banana: :banana: lol plus no wait. (The store i go to is called hobbytown usa (reminds me of lazytown))
