Itanium processors used as "furniture". Sort of...

But still.. almost seems a waste of all that processing power.

But still. I think it would have been cooler to create a motherboard and an OS for support for all those suckers. Imagine all those processors running a server of sorts...

I'm still working on thinking of something to use that old mobo of mine for... but then again, I think I was gonna cut it into six square pieces of the same size and make a cube out of it and hang it from something or set it up as a small statue thing or something... I dunno, I'll figure something out.

You could probably hugely underclock (for cooling) all of those and somehow have tiny tiny motherboards, then put them in a cluster. IT would be sweet.


but that's not very economical or anything.
