Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a wireless headset with mic.

Wireless as in how? Bluetooth or any method?

Well, bluetooth would be preferred. I have owned one of those RF sets before and it didn't work great, plus no mic.

Would this work?

Hmmm...it just might. Do you know if this would work with things like BF2 and teamspreak?

If you can get the sound going through bluetooth, it will work.

I've done things like take phone calls through my computer via bluetooth (used a wired headset) and played music through a bluetooth headset.... so it's possible.

I have a very nice samsung bluetooth earpiece for my phone which also works great with the computers bluetooth. Its very small and you don't really notice it. I sometimes use it for skype and sometimes I use it when moving round my flat to listen to music.

Samsung WEP 410:

And those Plantronics guys make great audio kit. I have used it in commercial environments. As a salesman I could hear the guy on the other end of the phone breathing and it was like being in the room with him. It was an amazing boost for sales because you could pick up on emotional nuances that normal telephone equipment didn't let you get. I can see that giving an advantage in gaming if it persists into these products. They have a whole range here (http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat1150057/cat5420035).

I'll second what everyone elase already said. I have a black motorola HS-850 and use that with a bluetooth dongle for the PC. Works great with TS. Check eBay for the best prices. Motorola will even RMA if you receive a defective one from the eBay seller (had to do it 3 times already).

I also have a bluetooth headset for my phone, but would not bother to use it on the PC since it only has one earphone and the quality is good enough for a phone, but not gaming. I recommend Plantronics. Every product I have ever owned or used that was built by them has performed flawlessly and lasted for a long time. And What CB said about the breathing...

Its weird til you get used to it eh??? and I bet it would benefit in gaming the same way as in sales.
