Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ3AcPEPbH0) it is.

Simply amazing, you can even select what colors you want your car to be!

Wow, just...wow.

That is awesome... there were at least twelve or so of the RCX control computer things there... that had to be like $1200 at least worth the parts, wow. Too bad my LEGO MindStorms kit got bashed for some models my bro made, I'd love to crack that out to mess around with.

did anyone catch the kit number?

The amazing thing is those are only RCX2.0!

But that is in creditable, that thing must have taken weeks to build.

i'm guessing the programming took longer, if i understand how it works anyway.

They use block programming.

which would be? (not very good at programing stuff, i know visual basic but thats about it, basic html thats all really) does block programming make it faster/easier?

i just tried google and found this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block_programming), but i don't think your talking about tv...

I think he was joking . I found the video pretty cool ! I wish i could create something useful with legos :)

Lego was my weapon of choice as a child. I used to play with it as a way of avoiding contact with other people. I became rather nifty with it. My last major construction was a motorised walking Diplodocus made of the stuff, who's head and tail swung from side to side as he plodded around the room.

These days my nephews have ideas in mind for what lego construction torture they will put me through before I arrive; "Hey uncle CrazyB ... built a fairground for us ... can you build us a car we can drive?". Like yeah.

The above is great fun to watch but neither the construction, design or programming that difficult, frankly, for anyone with few thousand dollars worth of the stuff. Probably what took longest was fine tuning the thing to actually work.

No, lego block programming. It's a graphics interface so kids can easily program the RCX unit.

If you want, I can fire up my unit again and show you.

That's fine, I should have found a picture before to demonstrate ^-^;

And that isn't actually that great, I've programmed it before and it's fairly limited. But I can't wait until I get to build something like this:

I remember that program... it was somewhat annoying to use, but my dad and I built a little robot that could follow a black line, it was cool... I'd like to get another one of those kits (my bro scattered mine and stole the parts) and see what I can do, I miss LEGOs... damn brother (steals parts off everything I make, parents don't do anything, so I've just kinda given up.).

Sounds hot, lol. But anyway, that assembly line is awesome.I wonder how long it took to build.

this stuff is simpy amazing. Much more complex than when I was a kid. I would have killed to have this type of stuff.

I would kill for a ton of LEGOs of my own, and for a couple of those new robotics kits, those things are hella cool. I had a lot of fun with it, although I had no clue what I was doing, lol. Now I bet I could make something cool.
