first post! been looking at this site for a while and i decided to make my own case insted of buying 1. but i need a little help and advice on the subject im A+ cert and everything but im new to the custom cases, what ive seen here is really amazing and id like to try 1 out for myself.
Ok so to the point, i want to make an all acrylic case put with a costom design heres a pic i drew up on paint to give u a rough idea (i might try it on sketch up later)

id like any opions on this or any idea to change
ok so heres the Q's
1. whats the best type of plexi to use
2. whats the best way to cut the plexi and qhat tools do i need?
3. is there a tool that would allow me to easyly cut the I/O shield and expansion slot on the back for the mobo?
4 where would i get the supplys for the mounting brackets for the mobo?

welcome to the forums!

never working with the stuff (i plan to get some soon for a window mod) but seeing others, i would say;

1. 1/4" cast acrylic (i assume you mean what size)
2. here is a good youtube video

3.i would say a dril and bit then jig saw for bigger ports. if you have mostly round ports on the motherboard you can just get the right sized drill bit and drill holes for each port.

4. if you have/can get acrylic glue you can make your own or heat and bend a small chunk of it with into a L, then just drill holes to mount with screws.
