The Small, Simple Mod Thread

Post all of your simple or quick mods. Stuff like special wire management, quick fixes for hardware, stealthing drives, etc.

I'll be the first one to post:

I started off with this device:

I had it in the corner of my case and it powered all my fans and lights and kept their wires out of the way.

I decided that it was dumb and ugly to have it loose in my case, so I made a harddrive-shaped object from a sheet of metal, removed the power splitter's adhesive, removed its screws and screwed it back in through the metal. This way it looked even cleaner. Heres the pics:

Here it is mounted. Those wires in the back can only be hidden with the side door closed, otherwise this pic would look cleaner.

I made a RCA Fan Power Box out of a RF Modulator.

Here is my little fan power box complete.
I figured it didn't really need two indicator lights so I swapped out switches.
