Didn't know about it before I came to work, but it just started. Currently, it's 5:00 on the East Coast. Check it out if you're still up.

What size telescope did you use? My 60mm refractor made it look sort of normal. Took me 30 minutes to get it so I could see.

I totally woke up at 4 am to watch the moon set red. It was absolutely beautiful.
Now I'm at work, tired and ready to go home and I've only been here 30 min.
Oh well, nature doesn't wear a watch.

ARGH I was at work!! My dad got a few photos though, and hopefully so did you guys so I won't miss out on it entirely. Apparently the next one is in 2011.

I was up early but i didnt feel like going outside since all the lights would turn on and people would wake up. Around 11:00 pm all i seen was a very bright white moon. I took a blurry pic of the sunrise :D

Lol, I would've gotten up early, but I'm definitely not a morning person. Almost should've gotten the mom and brothers to get up at 5 though, they get up at 6 to head to school and everything. Someone please post pictures, lol.

I didn't get a chance to go back outside until after 6:00. By that time, the clouds had rolled in. "Who cares about the servers.. there's a lunar eclipse that needs a watchin!"

I didnt know that there was going to be one.....but it was the first thing I noticed when I came out to go to work...It was very nice to see. NOBODY @ my work had seen it ...I am not sure they knew what I was talking about:think: Its nice to see some of you guys pay attention to more than what goes on in our "personal" bubble...:D

What size telescope did you use?

I don't know it was a fairly big one some guy in my neighborhood had one setup and he was letting people have a look.

Well if you missed it you can see the exact thing again in 2011.
