2.0ghz, 512mb of ram, xp pro, 100gig hdd

it has the core duo in it (t2500) not the core 2 duo (t7200)

I got her down from 600 to 500 but it still doesn't seem like that great of a deal... it scored 550 on 3dmark05

EDIT:::::

I told the girl no deal for 500 and that I wasn't interested in it for me but may be for my gf since she doesn't need the extra goodies... she emailed me back saying "ok, let me know." About an hour later she calls me asking if I'd buy it for 300... I said sure.

I show up and check out the specs... it's a t1300, not a t2500. It has a 60gb hdd and it's windows media not pro. I told her I wasn't interested in these specs and she said "what about 200?"

Sold.

1.66 core solo but it seems pretty damn quick!

**Double post** Admin, Please delete this thread from hot hardware deals... I'm not sure what I was thinking when I posted in there.

Pretty sweet deal. The women sounded desperate.

She was some 18 year old richy rich girl... she didn't even know what the specs were. I found the site she googled "e1505" and figured that was hers. She probably would have gone lower but I didn't want to insult her or be disrespectful... Her boyfriend was with her, otherwise I would feel like she was pressured and I wouldn't of made the deal because then I would have felt guilty. they walked away smiling so it was a win-win... I'm not sure why she was so happy for selling me the laptop dirt cheep. I checked, it's not stolen and neither of them seemed like druggies so... I dunno. I'm happy though, I think I'm keeping this one for a while rather than just throwing it up on ebay.
