Lcd???

So I have a BenQ FP71V+ and it annoys me that it doesn't pivot and stuff so I am looking into painting it black and possibly buying an arm for it BUT what bugs me the most is the power button apposed to all other lcds this one just has a BRIGHT blue light not a nice little one that doesn't distract me when i am watching a movie or gaming so I was wondering how to change that painting it wont be hard at all or getting the arm. please help with changing the LCD color or brightness

You could always somehow cover the LED... whether it be paint or bondoing over it and then painting over the bondo...

As long as you have soldering skills, it's pretty easy to change that LED or even dim it with a resistor.

Thanks guys I will attempts to dim it a by painting the button cause I dont want to fry my whole monitor by trying to dim it

not sure how it would come out but maybe try painting it with fresh, clean white out and then paint it black?
