I messed up the poll on the other, admins please delete it.
As the title says. Post the name and/or pics of your mouse.
I use a Microsoft Cobalt Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0. Great looks and shape but terrible tracking.

I use the G5 Logitech. I love it. You can change the weight and the cord it has is like rope really really light so if can hang off the desk and it wont pull my mouse down with it. You can change the sensitivy ( bad spelling lol ) so it can go fast or slow great for gaming when your a sniper or if its a fast FPS

$100 (4 weeks after i got it it went down to 79.99 natch...) Logitech MX Revolution wireless 2000dpi. and depending on how much it costs i might grab a Razer Lachesis - 4000dpi if i can try it in stores and like it.
Aren't laser and optical the same thing?

I just use a wireless Microsoft laser mouse.
Yeah I figured optical and laser where the same thing.
I think laser is just another term used for an optical mouse, even though it's incorrect because it's not an actual laser, but an LED.

My Microsoft Wireless 6000 series mouse doesn't have an LED, it has a laser.
Optical mouses have an LED, laser mouses have, well, a laser.

Optical mouses have an LED, laser mouses have, well, a laser.
Hence the "laser engine" technology used with all laser mice. Hence also why there is no light protruding from the bottom of laser mice. Optical and Laser, they are similar in that they both somehow use light for their tracking methods. I think at least, I'm fairly confused on how this kind of stuff works.
Btw, I have a Logitech Wireless Laser mouse. Not sure of the model, but its the one that comes with the easy call desktop. Been using it for two years, constant use, it hasn't let me down yet. I think alot of people don't give wireless mice a fair chance, they're experiences are ruined by bad experiences. But technology has improved, especially with logitech. I've never used a mouse made by them that wasn't satisfactory.

I know, heresy, but I don't 'game'.
Maybe some... well, no... I just don't. =\
But, I have a Logitech G5 if I'm not mistaken (crenn FTW!)...
Although, one pointing device I use a LOT, is the trackball.
In fact, I'm really looking into the Ultimate Trackball (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826125017) from Kensington.
I find it faster, more precision, and less 'work' to use a trackball.
Just my 0.02! :)
Well, mine is a wireless optical. Not only is it the mouse I game with, it's the mouse I do everything with. It's the only mouse I use.
And I have pictures!

I don't use wireless for one reason..... I hate it when you're playing and then the batteries die right in the middle of the game.

I use the Logitech Marble Mouse... $20 and gets the job done. I'd like one of the better models, but I can't afford that right now. And I do have to say, I don't understand why a mouse is considered better for gaming, it just doesn't make sense to me, you have to move the whole contraption and then pick it up and move it quickly, I just lift a few fingers and roll a small ball... but meh, whatever works.

Razer Copperhead for gaming and general computing and a Wacom Graphire4 digitizer tablet for graphic work.
I used to use a Logitech mx500 but after getting the copperhead Logitechs feel too big and clunky.
Oh, and wired mice for me, I can't remember to charge my phone, forget remembering to charge the mouse.
i use a few different types...
my main is a logitech mx-518 and on my laptop i use a G5
back before i got them...i used to pwn up the trackball on CS

For my next mouse, I'm looking at a Logitech MX Revolution. I tried out my friends: it has great tracking, a good shape and appearance and really sweet features. So far he hasn't had any battery problems, so I don't think I'll have a problem w/ that. Furthermore, I'll be painting it to match my Porsche case.

My wireless uses 2 AA batteries, so charging is no issue.
I had an MX518 too, but I like this so much more. I don't have on-the-fly DPI switching anymore, but I'm sure there's a workaround to that ;).

Bit of late reply, but I would just like to say that my mouse has been "dying" for over a week now. Meaning, the red light on top of the mouse is blinking. It usually lasts for about 2 weeks, then it finally dies and you need to replace the batteries. But, as far as battery life goes, I use this mouse heavily and fresh batteries last around a month or two, depending on whether you consider the "dying" stage part of the battery life. But if you do, then its definitely two months battery life with heavy usage.
So if your gaming with this mouse and it suddenly dies, then your mouse has issues. Because you'll know two weeks ahead of time that your mouse is going to die. :)
Just gotta find those "good" wireless mice, unfortunately there aren't many of them.
Zephik, it's an MX600. It's what I'm using too :D. Wireless laser for me.
Ha, I knew someone else had my mouse, I just couldn't remember who. ^_^
