Hello,

I'm going to be building my own case in October. I don't know if Iim going to be modding it at all. However, I'm going to be buying this computer case:

I also want to give it a makeover with a custom car paint job. The problem I have is, I don't know where i can get the paint i'm looking for.

The paint i'm looking for was a discontinued paint that was on the 2001 Lexus IS 300. I believe the paint was called "Spectra Blue Metallic." I've also been reading that it might be called "Spectra Blue Mica."

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe it's the same/very similiar blue paint used on the 2006 BMW 6-series.

Could anyone possibly point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

where are you from?
a lot of bigger car parts stores will have a facility for mixing paint to your exact spec

Most autobody repair shops will either have the proper color, or be able to mix it for you.. maybe talk to them..?

Call any collision repair shop and ask if they can give you the number to there local auto paint and body supply store. If they say that they dont use one ask what a qt of that base paint and a qt of clear will cost from them. They can mix any color you want. Just find the color code off the car your looking for and then give the paint place or the collision place the number and they can mix it for you.

Oh also you will also need some 2k primer. Its made just for automotive paint and wont cause any bad reactions in the paint like fish eyes or worse even blending of the primer to the base.

If you have any questions pm me. My other hobbie is restoring cars and I paint them myself.
