what justfies "widescreen" ??

Someone asked if the 5150 is a widescreen but I don't think it is... screen dimentions are 12"x9" but then again standard resolution is 800x600 AND my old toshiba tv isn't a perfect square either.

12"x9" works out at 4:3 ratio, which is a standard monitor aspect ratio, not a widescreen.

yea, 4:3 is standard,
16:9 or 16:10 is widescreen

And for the question: What justifiy Widescreen:

16/9 is the real way your eyes see, BTW, 4/3 monitors will soon diseapear

widescreen is so appealing becuase its so close to the perfect ratio.

Widescreen makes more sense for games... almost everything else too. Maybe if I have some extra cash later on I'll upgrade monitors... but yeah, widescreen ftfw
