I'm up to no good again, doing some secret operation stuff. Very hush hush. :D

But it seems that I'm not as full of knowledge as I once thought I was. This is a pretty basic question, and don't worry, even I would laugh at a person asking such a basic question, so don't feel bad when you do. lol

What the hell are these screws (http://profil-teksten.dk/nlm/063.jpg) called? lol I went to the hardware store, looked around, couldn't find any, WENT UP to an employee and just stared at him with my mouth open. EMBARRASSING MUCH? lol

"err, can I help you?"

"Yes, but no. Wait, that didn't make sense. um.. nevermind."

That was the exact conversation I had with one of the employees at ACE Hardware. I walked out of that store so fast, it must of looked like a monty python clip in fast forward. lol

TIA BTW ^_^

oh yea, one more thing. can you buy them in a lower profile? or maybe something similar thats a lower profile? Basically, I need screws, but I don't want them to look like screws. or at least any ordinary ones. They have to be like... cosmetic screws or something. lol screws that look cool, to put it in monkey talk. So if you have any suggestions, I'm open to them.

Allen head screws if I can see them right. You should be able to pick them up in most sizes at any hardware store but I would really check out places like Home Depot and Lowes. They have really really big screw selections there.

Or Socket Head Cap screws. That's what I'm using in my project. They OWN.

If you have a Fastenal near by, go there. They had every size imaginable, in black, chrome, and regular steel. Or just buy them at the Fastenal website.

Actually, if you're just looking for cosmetic screws in general, look at the Fastenal site. They have tons of stuff like this.

Edit: And, as a side note, I had this exact same problem. I knew what they looked like, but had no idea what they were called. So I went to Menards and asked if they had any screws with the hex head on top and the big circle thing... lol. I found them but they sold them in packs of 1 for $.50! I got a pack of 100 for $11 at Fastenal.

+rep for asking the question. I've tried every search term I could think of, but to no avail. Too embarrassed to ask myself.

THANKS!!!
