This is one portion of my collection, i can't be arsed to get outside to go through the rest of my collection.

I could possibly use some of that RAM but I don't know what kind it is. o0 I think it might be PC100 as my grandpa has a P3 500mhz and my old rig is an old AMD 700mhz... it's not 133 as that didn't fit when we tried. So, however you're gonna go about shipping it, I'll pay if need be.

I just saw you were in the uk. Shipping would be more than what I can buy the parts from newegg for. I may just head to the salvation army today and find an old case with the ports and pay the 10 bucks for the case to get them. All I need the usb for is the connectors where it connects to the mobo. The audio is needed because the case I bought doesnt have a front audio port. Who in the hell doesnt put a front audio port on gaming cases these days? Apevia is retarded.

Yea and I will have a nother case to mod too. I did stop by there today and all they had was a early 90's and i mean early 90s mac for 15 bucks. I am going to try another one tomorrow.

nice collection. I've got a little one going. I've got 3 old P3 mobo's, with a total of about 1.2gigs of ram, about 5 ATI Rage 128 cards, 2 old i486's with a whopping 6 megs of ram, a dell P3 laptop with a 700mhz processor, and a few other computers, but I can't remember what they are. I'm at college and they are in a pile at home, so I can't give anything away :P.

Although I could use some RAM for that P3 laptop. I'll check on the specs of it later, I want to say its PC133, but I'm not sure. Do you think you have any of those?

Actually... if I can't get my old rig working I might could use a different mobo, CPU, and RAM, I have a few spare video cards and a HDD that I think works... this old stuff is good for setting up Linux and misc. servers and crap around the house, lol.

My old rig is a 700mhz AMD socket something or other with like 64mb RAM and progbuddy gave me a 128mb AGP video card to replace the 32mb one I had. This sucker's gonna run good, I'm gonna put regular old Ubuntu on it and get that server running... it's gonna be over the wireless to, and I'll not let my dad know it's using up bandwidth, he's retarded when it comes to that. He thinks my IMs and TS use more bandwidth than him and both my brothers playing stupid old WoW, one more reason why I don't like it, it's the server they play on, it sucks... that thing disconnected me at least twice a day when I played and I think they're having problems with it.

But yeah... old computers are still fun, I wanna get a DOS one from somewhere to play around with, learn about DOS (for the hell of it), and get some old games on there.

Honestly I think I still have DOS 6.2 and the upgrade to 6.22 somewhere at my dads house in all the computer junk I have there. *sniff* sometimes I still his the simple days of DOS.

should see my dads den, its a garage, curbords and the like, he works for a recycling company, so he gets all the good stuf thats classed as dead.

PS. Im using an old P3 700MHz 256MB Ram 11GB HDD and XP Pro (Custom edition that i've stripped) laptop atm,

I've got sort of the same thing going on.. people bring me their old PC's when they upgrade or whatever, so I get loads of good stuff for free, and they are happy since they dont have to deal with it anymore. :D

likewise, i fix/upgrade peoples computer, i get the keep any working parts, of faulty if i think i can fix them, so i have ammounted quite a lot of junk, My dad's been collecting for 40 years,
