Pentium...yes I said Pentium. When you got a game, video editing, music, and teamspeak all going, the HT really helps

once the X2 3800 breaks, AMD will dominate intel in terms of cost for performance.

Check Anandtech.com, they already have :)

Even though i have pc's @ home with both the processors.. Intel P4HT and the Athlon XP... and even though the AMD is way better silenced than the Pentium, and kind of keeps cooler than the P4... i will go with Intel's Pentium this time.. and probably any time, just because i feel it has more stability and intel is (even though (again)) more monopoli-cious than amd... i stand with what i believe....

Hello, that's what dual-core procs are for... you don't need to fool your computer into thinking it's got more than it has, kinda like what's in your pants... :D j/k

dual-core is good for desktops, but is not very useable in laptops because of the extra weight and cooling.

i have to say amd, i dont really like companies that monopolize markets just like i dont like microsoft but since i dont kno linux is till have to support them or not support since i havent bought an os from them EVER(lol the wonderful internet).

Also in my belief amds overclock better depending on what u get.

Amd better cost per performance.

something i heard not that i kno myself but i heard amds architecture is far superior because of thet fact pent was manipulating people into believing clock defines the speed of ur computer they had to come up witha new method to get a higher clock so they opted for a 20 pipline system causes some glitches and some errors.

For some reason amd just tickles me even tho their PR ratings need some work atleast they didnt try to make people more computer illiterate with a clock speed battle.

Heck, once the dual core hit period, AMD dominated Intel... It's no longer about the pentiums baby!!

I've always been an AMD fan.

Just bught the AMD64 X2 4400+ and i'm loving it! :D

Reason for loving AMD? Hmm.. Must say that it's because the prosessor I firt bought when I started bilding was AMD. And Cool and Quiet is something I realy love about AMD.

The AMD processors may not process as fast, but the thing that makes them so great is that they don't have to process as fast and still get the same result. Not to mention the fact that they are a heck of a lot cheaper.

AMD all the way at the moment, but I don't think it'll be long before intel go all out to dominate the market again.

Also shouldn't the poll be either Intel or AMD, or Pentium or Athlon???
