Need help finding a specific waterblock

I'm looking for the Aqua Computer Cuplex XT for Intel LGA775.

I've read some reviews and based on those and its appearance I deem this to be the nicest waterblock I've ever seen.

If you can find that for around $60 I will love you forever. I really don't wanna buy from Sharka Computers since their expensive.

However, if you think there is another block that is just as nice for <$60 then let me know, I'd like to try that also.

Does the other block have to have an acrylic top? Because if not, the Swiftech Apogee GTX is really nice, and pretty cheap at Newegg (if they have it in stock).

i second the GTX if you can't find the one you want. i tried looking for the last 10 minutes and could only find two sites, ncixus and the site you listed. bother were 80+. thats looks like a really nice block though, makes me slightly second guess the GTX even. if performance pcs had it for 79.99 i would look at it for a while. got the links to those reviews you checked out? is it only 1/4 fittings? thats a big negative for me if so.

Give me a sec, i found 3 reviews linked on a forum post somewhere, lemme find that forum.

But that one comes with 1/4" and 3/8" barbs. The older version of the Cuplex XT only used 1/4"

OK, I found the german one (http://www.technic3d.com/article-65,1-aquacomputer-cuplex-xt.htm) in my browser history, but for some reasons the other two aren't there. Though its in german, you can still read the graphs and rating.

Sorry can't offer better news but with the dollar weak I think you're gonna have to bite the bullet or buy another gun.

Heres my problem; I have a very small budget for watercooling ($170). My current setup w/ that block is at $160, so I could spare another $10 for a better block. I don't think I could spend $190 unless I actually got my processor and graphics card sold (those two are killing me).

Wow, thanks man. Thats one of the nicest thing someones ever offered to do for me. I'll have to decline though. I think I'll be able to muster up the cash to get that. I for sure can sell my E6700, but I'm more worried about my ATI X1900XTX. Though I'm selling for a decent price, it's getting outdated really fast. Actually come to think of it, my friend owes me like $30 for a game he bought from me... Either way I'll get the money (and this block).

EDIT: OK I am definitely going for that block. I will be getting my whole W/C system in the next two months, along with a brand-new 8800GTS 640MB, Razer Barracuda AC-1 Sound Card and a Logitech MX-Revolution. My remaining cash will go towards my Porsche Mod, which I desperately need to get started on.

With addition of the shipping from Performance-pcs and McMaster I'll be in the $240 range. I honestly don't want to spend that much on a watercooling system. Jesus, I thought a custom setup would be slightly cheaper than that, but I suppose I'm cooling extra things, and using 2 rads... I guess I just overlooked some of the necessities that set me back $20 each (tubing, clamps, fans...).

The Apogee GTX is now out of my range (well not really I guess, but I've got a rough estimate of $500 more on this mod, plus a new graphics card when I have the cash, and I really need to quit my job so I have time for things like school) and the EK block looks decent enough and is relatively cheap for a good CPU block. I just wish I could find like, 1 review. I can't seem to find ANY.

EK Water Blocks are an emerging brand from Slovenia. They've progressed from a 1 person custom design house to an international company and have come to be well known for their high quality, unique design and great performance. Water Additive - $8
Radiator - $30
Pump - $45
"T" Fitting - $15
Fill Port - $8.

I am doing T Line bleeding, since its such a small loop (and I don't have to buy a res and extra tubing.)

All of these parts are pretty nice quality, as far as I can tell from reviews and such. I am going for Neoprene Tubing so that the liquid doesn't evaporate as fast. The Radiator is a Black Ice Pro Compact and the pump is a off-brand fish tank pump (from the local fish store) fitted w/ 1/2" fittings, has 700 l/h flow rate and always stays under 20db. I think this is the best $240 cooling solution on the planet...

I grabbed a few parts that weren't on my original list for cost, if I hadn't it'd be around $400 without shipping, maybe even closer to $450. It's a good thing this is all I really care about. That, and a season pass to the ski hill. That comes later though.


Edit: This is what I've got.

$10 - Fans
$20 - Tubing (may be overkill though... it's for 10ft)
$18 - PC Ice
$16 - Clamps (for 20, which is around what I'll need)
$60 - 2x Chipset blocks
$64 - Pump
$53 - CPU block
$45 - GPU block
$65 - Rads (Black Ice Pro Compact 120.1 and 120.2)

Totals to $351.

The guys at performance-pcs are real top notch. I just ordered my radiator and some stuff from them, and they called me within hours to say that one item was back-ordered, and spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to find a suitable replacement. Then, got an email saying they managed to locate the parts.

I love a company that takes the time to communicate. I'll be ordering more of my components there.

It comes with all custom-sized fittings. I thought that was pretty decent. I need it like this:
