Well, I have these two 2" speakers that came with my computer when i bought it. Now, I want to make it nicer, but I don't know how. I wanted to make something totally absurd with it, like a big set of headphones :lick:.

Are there any other ideas that i could do to my speakers, like a enclosure for it or something?

Depending on the speakers, you could make new enclosures for them. Infinite baffles are as easy as it gets, but can have mixed results.

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to build new enclosures that match the old ones for internal volume, but go all out with the appearance. Fancy wood always looks classy, but a smooth paint job or even some acrylic accents would look great. :)

I was thinking of getting two 4-5" hollow, wood balls and mounting the speakers on each of them.

if you can somehow keep the magnetic part of it away, or have some custom casing to it. then i say by all means put it inside your computer case. haha

Ok this means discarding the speaker, and won't make the speaker any better :P but rip out the speaker and slap a case fan in there, put a hole in the rear of the speaker enclosure and run it from the USB port. It mightn't be that powerful, but you'll have yourself a nice quiet gentle breeze when you feel like it :P
I did it except screwed 3 fans together , fixed them to the inside of the speaker and ran it from a 12v adapter plugged into the mains. Works like a dream... but very noisy.

Search that on www.diyaudio.com to see some built in that way. :)
