Recently i had been boerd and looking for a mod to do to my PC case. Although i already had a switch for my bright lights on the back of my case, i decided that was no longer cool. So i picked up some switches at radio shack and attached them to one of the panels covering an empty 5.25 bay. Here are the results.

here you can see what the switches control. the on on the far left controls the six red leds on the front. the one on the far right turns the blue tempature readout on and off. the middle one is just for show right now

the right one is for the 6 red lights on the front and the left one is for the temp readout (you can see it in the 3rd picture) the middle one is still empty for expansion

Awesome, that looks really good! If only you could change the blue led temp display to red, that would tie it all together nicely. ah well, still looks very nice! +rep

I thought about getting one of those cases a short while ago, I was going to take off the plexi front and put on a new plexi front with no drive bay cut outs. Bondo up all the drive bays and whatnots, then stealth everything. Thought that would of looked cool. But I only had $50 and I needed more for shipping and materials, so I just bought a cheap rosewill instead. lol

Just an idea I thought I'd share for no particular reason. lol I guess I just don't like typing two short sentences for a reply.

Ahh the dreaded blue lcd, i've been trying to change that since the beginning. I think i have found a simalar lcd i can take parts out of, so ill let you guys know how that goes.

I've had one thought, to have it replace the power supply switch. My power supply is expensive though and i'm not sure i want to take that on right now but i'm thinking.
