View Full Version : New System

I've installed a system that automatically re-sizes any image that is over 800 pixels wide. It will provide a link when clicked upon to the full sized image.

The best modders on the boards can get their images less than 800 pixels, so I don't really expect anyone to complain about it. Just let me know if you come across any bugs or strange things when you see a shrunken image.

Thanks, let me know how much easier the new feature makes browsing TBCS!

Anything that stops the forum being stretched can only be good.

Might also stop the mahoooooooosive 'fresh from the cam' pics going up.

Glad you set it at 800px, good size that man.

There is only one aspect of this system I don't like:

1) Where's the cornbread?

Seriously, this is a serious problem of a most serious nature of the serious kind. Get me some cornbread, I will be happy. Seriously.

Cool, I haven't eaten yet, Taco Bell was surrounded by cops, apparently someone tried to steal a pack of ketchup. I'll start up the jetpack and hopefully I can be there by dessert.

Sweet! Unfortunately, I misplaced my jetpack. That's the last time I leave my bedroom door un-booby-trapped.

I can't find any pictures to check it with Omega, i'm going to try and hunt some down. :)

Let me know if you see anomalies!

I have plenty of huge images. Here's one to try it out.

Hahaha...You know why it wasn't working before folks?

Because I, genius that I am, set it up, tweaked the settings, and never turned it on.

I'm going to rebuild the post cache in order to ensure that all posts are properly resized. This may cause slowdown for the next hour or so, it's a lengthy operation.

Any problems, let me know.

Corollorary to Sattingers Law: "it works better when it's switched on." :p

Ah crumbs. There was a pottential bug I knew about where it would turn Sig [IMG] tags into URL's. This appears to have affected us.

I'm going to try and solve this problem just now.

Ok, I think i've fixed the text issue. You will need to empty your Cache to get this working. appart from that, happy browsing folks. I'm away for the weekend, so if this causes any problems, I'm leaving instructions with Jon about how to turn it off.

I sent my friend a link, then when I went back and clicked the links I sent, it went to the wrong page. I tried three separate times, each time it links me to the wrong page and it seems to be linking random pages in the forum.

Anyone else having this problem? Maybe its my pc?
