I know we've got some car geeks here, but who else is really into WRC? I'm watching WRC Norway '07 Day One, Stage One. I'd have to say that Rally is one of the few respectable motorsports left, because it actually takes tons of skill --- and even more balls --- to send yourself flying around the types of terrains these drivers do.

Also, if you are keeping up with WRC '07, anybody you'd like to see win? I want the Citroen team to take the win (Loeb & Sordo), but It's fun to watch both the Citroen cars and the two Ultimate Ford Focuses.

I love WRC it is my favorite motor sport and up on my lists of favorite sports to. I love watching the drives running through the sections at break neck speeds while in real life any sane person would be crawling along the road in there car.

I haven't been keeping up with it though I just watch it when ever it is on and I am in front of the tv.

I haven't been up to date since they started and finished Monte Carlo, which is Stage 1, they're on Stage 11 right now and I'm watching Stage 3, so...

But it's fun to watch. Definately.

The best part is that all of the cars they use are cars that I would love to drive (even the street version). Especially the Suby team with the Solberg brothers. Rally-spec WRXes, man. Sexy cars.

I've basically stopped watching WRC and F1.

I love F1 still.... but the FIA are killing it.

I love WRC, i dont get much time to follow it all the time but i try to keep track of it as well as the Irish championship.
But i much prefer going to rallies, the feeling you get going through you when a WRC car backfires beside you is simply amazing. Pure adrenaline!!
If anyone wants some pictures of rally cars check out my site (click the sig). A lot of the pix on there are complete **** (because i cant afford a good camera) but there are some gems in there, esp. from 2006.
And if anyone wants some high-res shots just let me know and i can either post them on here or email them to you.

So bring on WRC Rally Ireland 2007 (http://rallyireland.org)!!! (and i will have a better camera by then so you can all expect some good shots!!)

wow, that does suck. McRae was (hell, still is) a legend. Shame he's no longer with us.

Was gutted when I heard what had happened, he really was a true legend. Only a few years after Richard Burns passed too. Is a tragedy! :(
