So, I now officially activated Eve. I know a few other people here might play it. Anyways, I now play it. I first tried it out a long time ago, but never really got into it, but also never really gave it a good enough chance. So 14 days ago, I started another free trial of it. I decided this time I would go through the whole thing, and get the whole experience. According to Xfire, I've put 44 hours into it so far. A little bit ago, I found my wallet, grabbed my debit card, and activated my account to a full one. I'll be playing this now. Who else here has it?

I had it, but decided it was too repetitive when it came to missions (kept getting the ol' "blow up the repair station" and the "kill the pirates and save the VIPs" ones) and I didn't like the whole "wait three to six weeks to be able to use mining barges"... it just got annoying. Kind of fun in a way, but they could improve it quite a bit, I don't want to dedicate so much time to something. Glad you enjoy it though.

I think what makes it more fun is being on with friends, and forming a powerful alliance to go out and cause mayhem.

Probably. I got stuck in a limbo corporation and couldn't find another one worth joining, so it was kind of annoying trying to do anything. That and mining, ugh. Last I was on I had my 9 day training deal on so I could use mining rigs... to hell with that, I don't want to wait a week and a half for every new ship I'm about to use. And the subscription just became an issue, money's getting short for me, so that's out. $15 isn't much, but it's enough for me to eat for a few days, lol.

I saved up 1.5 million ISK and formed my own corporation. Right now it's only me and a friend, but I have plans to build it up to power. Soon I'll have 6 million ISK saved up, enough to buy myself a cruiser.


I've had it for 20 days so far, yet have already put in more than 70 hours

Grats dude. I had a cruiser or two, took too long to train up for my liking, I dunno, just got tedious to play, not enough action.

i got 98 Million isk on one accound, and bros account has 4 million isk, we can both fly barges, crusers and battle ships, we were part of a HUGE alliance but we went to war, and all recent recruts were kicked due to spys, so were messing about now, he plays it mopre than me though. he even uses my accound while he is mining.

...FOR THE FIRST FEW MONTHS...

I played for almost 2 years with 3 different groups of friends and after awhile it just turns into so much of the same old same old...

It doesn't matter what ship you fly, what race you belong to, what corp you run in, or where your homebase is, all your missions are basically the same thing, just set in tougher sec spaces. Eventually you make more money than you'll ever ever spend and you're completely trained in anything you'll ever possibly need.

The only way I found to really really have fun wasn't until my last 3 or 4 months of the game. Buy a couple badass ships and go camp gates.
