Ah sweet! You should try a good pcp airgun instead, like an Air Arms 410 in .22cal.

Very cool. I've always wanted to get into target shooting, and that makes me want to even more. Very cool and informative review.

I'd +rep you, but you already have infinite rep, so it wouldn't matter  .

Isn't YouTube great? I love making vids now. I wish I had more time.

Great vids. I used to be on a rifle team in high school where we used air guns. For those who don't know air guns are awesome.

I can't remember what the model was that we used but they were wicked. They had weight on the end of the barrel that looked like silencers. They were ridiculously accurate.

Cool.

I'd like to get my hands on one of those Ruger Air Hawk Elites.

Ha! Got rid of the face fur finally.

Actually, it's going to vanish suddenly in the 5th episode--I previously taped portions of the show and then went back to finish up--sans mustachio!

CONTINUITY!! WHERE'S MY CONTINUITY PERSON!!

Oh..that's me.

I'll be doing the Air hawk and Ruger Falcon on a future show ;) AFAIK, they are made in Turkey by Hatsan (the Falcon is basically a camo version of the Hatsan Model 125) and rebranded for Ruger...Hmmm..

When I was 12, I got an air rifle. I believe it was "China Seal" brand, but that was a looong time ago. Pretty standard.. wooden stock, break barrel, loads of power.

The thing that chokes me is that air rifles are limited to less than 500fps in Canada, or else you need a firearm certificate, and have you register them as rifles. Cabella's has some air rifles upwards of 1500fps, which is definitely more interesting to me.

What would you recommend in the $200-300 range with more than 1000fps? Any info on importing into Canada would be greatly appreciated!

Luke--nothin' I can do about the FAC restrictions on exporting :(

In fact just recently in Canada, two young teens (one 17, the other 13) broke into someones garage and stole an air rifle--the 13 yo tried to grab it from the other and it discharged, killing him. It was a FAC rated rifle. This terrible tragedy reminds us that These are NOT toys.

I think anything that fires a projectile isn't a toy, unless it's very small scale.

We should note that even paintball guns have the capacity for lethality. =/

Crimson,

Make sure to monetize your videos. YouTube is finally getting on the bandwagon.

http://www.youtube.com/partners

They've been keeping it on the down low but it's a good deal.

With Revver.com you get 50% of ad revenue, with Youtube you should ideally get 100% of ad revenue since they are owned by the big goog.

Once you sign up you won't see anything for 60-90 days. I haven't either. It's still in beta but you should sign up now so you're not waiting while your vids are racking up views.
