Was just looking around the local Craigslist and found an offer on barter for a badger 150 airbrush kit with compressor. They wanted paintball stuff, of which i have nothing good, so i offered a brand new 4gb ipod nano or the athlon 1.4ghz tbird, 256mb ram, and 40gb hdd pc. Not sure if he will want any of those, but he also put up a price to buy it, which im sure I could barter down if i wanted to pay cash, but would rather trade some stuff that I have.

Anyone know if the Badger 150 and compressor is a decent airbrush kit? This is for a beginner mind you.

Just thought it would be cool to have, seeing as ive wanted an airbrush set up for a lot of things. I would rather trade some of the mucho stuff i have around instead of wasting more money on things. Thanks for the ideas ahead of time.

commando will be better to answer this but i can confirm that badger are a well known/established AB manufacturer.....

would need to know more about the compressor size/output oiled/oil-less etc to be able to give you a more concrete answer about it's performance.

short anwser:

Badger = good brand for AB imho

Thanks guys! I haven't heard back from him, but I did ask him how much it was used and if it was well taken care of (which i know, everyone is going to say well, and that it was used less than it actually was). I also asked about the compressor so I will check back once i get the details and if he is interested in an actual trade.

Yeah,

Sorry I lose track of posts sometimes.

The Badger 150 is a pretty good airbrush. You really have no idea what kind of condition your going to get it in though. It costs about 60$ new.

The compressor is probably not very good. Just my hunch. Go to Sears and spend 100$ for a regular air compressor and you'll be infinitely more happy.

Hope this helps.
