Hey, got my new schtuff installed, now I have a kickass ASUS mobo, an 8500GT, and 1gb dual channel RAM (with HEAT SPREADERS!)... this is sweet, just gettin' everything running right so that I can play me some games tonight. :D

Got pretty much everything installed... just need a few more games and mods for the aforementioned games, lol. I ran CnC3 with everything maxed (including AA) at 1024x768 (monitor's max rez) and it ran great, this new setup kicks total ass. So, who wants me to kick their ass in CnC3 with maximum graphics? Hmm? :twisted:

EDIT: Well, after this patch is done in like an hour... stupid EA and their slow servers or however you download this schtuff.

One advantage in a lot of games when you can run them at high/max settings is that you have a much larger field of view, as in depth. You can see much farther than those at med/low settings, which can be a huge advantage.

So hope you do well, I'd play with ya, but i dont have CnC3. Have fun.

Well, that and it's a LOT more enjoyable. I'm the guy that went from minimal, to medium, to max in the course of a year, I'm freakin' thrilled dude, lol.

I would be having more fun IF THIS PATCH DIDN'T TAKE 3 HOURS TO DOWNLOAD A 180MB FILE! lol... yeah, EA needs to get on top of that.

54mb/s over the WiFi and that goes onto like a 10mb/s connection to the web. EA just needs to man up and stop uses torrent styled programs for getting patches to people.

Get DtA, or "DownThemAll". I was in the same boat as you, installed DtA, and instead of a minute for a 1MB file, it's ~10 secs.

So yeah, DO IT NOW.

Thinking about it, I didn't have any lag when I played that chump before I played with you... it might be something on your end. I"ve played with three people on WoW and it was fine, but I'll try to come up with what it could've been on my end too.
