LOL, that biker nearly got smashed, but i can't believe the cops didn't get him, All they had to do was open there door and bang the guy woulda been on the ground, or spike belt, even a tasergun :D haha that woulda made it funny as anything.

FAKE!!!!

I've seen the original actually... the "cop car" is in fact a stolen car. The second cop car is the real one, the guy on the bike was digitally added in.

I'll try to find the original and post it in here.

**EDIT** HERE IT IS!!!! (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/47218/truck_driver_assists_the_police/)

Hey yeah, this was on one of them cops shows awhile ago, the trucky "saved" the day, he said he saw the car comming so he blocked him. ( I think )

Lol! :) How awesome would that have been if it had been real I mean that cyclist would have to have been uber-ly fit to move that fast.

"Roadies" can move pretty fast actually.. I was in a bike shop in Calgary one day, and overheard a guy talking to a salesman about how he was trying out his new bike that day, and had already done 150km (it was 11am!!).

Super light bikes with low drag and high gearing.. these guys can reach highway speeds. Anyone who says Tour de France is dull doesnt realize just how quick they are moving sometimes.. and wearing nothing but a helmet and some spandex.

Yeh I appreciate that, am a massive fan of Tour de France but don't think Lance Armstrong would have taken to breaking the law and getting chased by the police as a way of keeping fit now he's retired. ;) If it was real would have to be a pro rider moving at that pace plus the fact they caught up with trucks means they would have to have been moving more than 50mph (or whatever speed US trucks are limited to).

It'd have to be downhill... and a good bike, lol. On my 21 speed recumbent I can get going 25mph on level ground and got to about 30mph on a down hill stretch... need more speeds if I'm to do more than that... that or bigger tires.

I saw that same police chase on spike tv the bike is fake.
Ive seen bikes with a little motor on them, but there is no way i'd go that fast. :D
