Im going to be getting a Radeon HD 2900Pro as soon as they come out. My only problem is that I don't have a 8-Pin PCI-E Power Connector on either of my power supplies. I've looked around for an adapter, but the only thing I've been able to find is the 8-Pin Processor adapter.
Does anyone know where I can get one of these?
Thanks,
Indybird

if you have a 6 pin pci cable this (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=21721) will work.
i'm not sure if the pin layout is the same but this (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34_186&products_id=2938) may work if you only have molex.

after answering another question slightly simmilar (what are the 2 extra wires for on a 8pin) so i tested my psu and they were grounds. so you might be able to jam 2 ground wires in there haha. i would just got a proper plug though, or mod a atx motherboard plug.

They are grounds :) And the jamming should work.
Those wires are used to get a better logical 0 level reference.. A bit complicated.. but I wouldn't go for the molex2xeon converter, cause of different pinout and different wattage requirements. A plug should be available or order-able at an electronic parts shop. or you could mod one out of a bad PSU connector..

^knowing that couldn't you just rewire the molex and xeon adaptor(assuming it fits into the 8 pin connector)? just wire it with the 3 12v and 5 grounds.
