I just wanted to express how happy I am that I decided to use a clear acrylic case for my Motorized Madness Project.
It really makes modding alot easier. It cuts and drills pretty easy. I'm still using the same reinforced cut off wheel that I started the Turbine mod with. Its sturdy and does not bend or crease like metal would. It makes it easy to see what your doing because its clear. If it were aluminum, It would be alot harder to align objects and drill holes. Its makes the pictures I take sometimes easier to see what I'm trying to show. But on the other hand, you see everything behind what I'm trying to show too. You can glue stuff to it. due to its thickness, you can mount the panels from the ends. It can be heated and bent to form a shape. It sands and files easy, etc. etc. etc.
And the best part about it, It just looks kick ass!
If your not worried about scratches, you don't have to tape everything off, it is pretty scratch resistant as long as your carefull.
Its just overall a pleasure to work with and thats all I have to say.
