I'm curious, because I love comedy. I've written papers on it (I'm minoring in Philosophy) and I'm always interested in finding new comics. So who are some of your favorites?

A few of my favorites: Richard Pryor, Bill Hicks, Lenny Bruce, Sam Kinison, Mitch Hedburg

Mine are Gabriel Iglesias, George Lopez, Carlos Mencia, but probably because I am mexican :D . Other comedians I like are Larry the cable guy and Ron White.

Russell Peters is probably the funniest guy I've ever seen, and following closely behind is Derek Edwards.

Tony Martin and Mick Molloy are a couple of my favourites. Actually the whole D-Generation team is a hoot!
They have come from stand up and also sketch comedy.

I posted a few videos in this thread (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10546)

Stephen Lynch, Bill Hicks, Old Dane Cook, Dave Attell...there's more, I just can't remember them off the top of my head. Definitely Steve Lynch & Bill Hicks. 2 of the best acts I've ever seen.

I gotta go with luke here. Russel Peters is extremely funny.

I also like Jerry Seinfeld, Louis Black and most importantly George Carlin. George Carlin is debatedly the funniest man ever.

My favourite comedian of all time is Irish comedian Dylan Moran. He's also the star of BBC series Black Books, I highly recommend you watch it. He's done a live show in Sydney each year for the last 2 years, and I went to both of them and enjoyed every minute of it. Utterly fantastic.

Bill Bailey, the other star of Black Books, is pretty funny as well.

Heres a clip from The Panel its an irish tv show hosted by Dara O'Brien and they have different comedians on 'the panel' each week and they also interview a guest on each show.
Here they are interviewing the CEO of Ann Summers and on the panel are the standup comics Andrew Maxwell, Jimmy Carr, Neil DeLaMerand Colin Murphy, all of who are great comics in their own right, as well as Graine Seoige (a news reader). Enjoy!

The Panel its an irish tv show

Well, it's an Irish TV show derived from the Australia show of the same name.
The Panel in Australia just happened to be thought up by people from The D-Generation in the links I posted before.

I have to agree with SgtM and say Jeff Dunham (on a steeeck) :) Others would include Christopher Titus, Stephen Lynch, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engval, and Rodney Carrington (Fellow Tulsan). I got to sit and talk to Christopher Titus when he was in town and I gotta say "Super Cool Guy!!"

Did any one see the Bob Saget special on HBO?
