Modding a Plain ol' Boring Case

My current PC which I recently purchased is housed in a rather dull looking Asus case. A Vento A8... Now I was interested in cutting out the side panel and putting a piece of perspex in. Now what tools and methods would I need? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Mask, Dremel, hole saw, drill, jigsaw, hammer, some bondo, some files. i think that's all you might need.
