wouldnt it be cool to do a case looseley based on the rainbowy helmet?
and it would be cool to have LEDs on the front that can change colors to make the peace symbol,smiley,heart and the arrow.

well i would see how much one of those led signs costs (like the belt buckles (http://www.chinatraderonline.com/Files/Gifts-and-Crafts/Badge/LED-Belt-Buckle-1939017735.jpg), but bigger. not sure if there wired to strips of pcb or one big pcb but you might be able to bend/melt or extend the leads and shape it.

the helmets cost about 40,000 each, but you cannot build one or buy one unless you have bought permission from daft punk.

I agree if your referring to the horrible acting and such, but some of those power rangers were actually some really good martial artists. Just fell into the pit of a crappy kids show with horrible effects and bad acting.

yeah I realize a lot of good martial arts went down. But when you dumb it down for kids, they just make fun of it.

I'll just stay out of the gay/martial arts/power ranger argument.

As for the LED's on the case, I think that would be a killer mod, but you should expect some pretty heavy duty engineering and a fairly high cost/difficulty to control the LED's.

I agree though that it would be really REALLY cool to make it work. :D

I wasn't referring to anyone being gay on that actually. I couldn't care less. I was looking at the statements prior as the using gay as stupid thing and saying that ya the show was pretty poor but there were some good martial artists who were in it. Other than that I am not getting into it, because I wasn't saying anything of the sort, I was actually getting off the gay thing but whatever.


If you make a case like that, that would be insane. I don't like those helmets at all, but just the skill it would take to make something like that would be crazy! It would be a cool mod any way ya look at it.

i could see a lot of solder work in the future of this idea

maybe get some of those multi color LEDs that have the seperate leads...then just program it to change ....idk..just rambling what comes to mind
