so i just won 4gb's (4x1gb) of Samsung DDR2 PC 5300 for $90 (shipping included) off ebay!!

so which do you guys think would be better? 4gbs of low spec ram or 2gb's of high spec ram? has anyone else tried something like that?

What're the timings and all? If you do a comparison then it'll be easier to tell. Here's my thoughts:

If the faster RAM isn't at least twice as fast as the other RAM, it's probably not as good as 4gb, and you can OC the RAM (depending on if there're heat spreaders and all) probably to take up the slack...
