I've been searching the forums on how to post a Sketchup picture in to the forums.... and I come up with nothing. ImageShack doesn't recognize it and neither does Photobucket. How do I post a Sketchup pic to the forums?

Thanks for the help,
Fuga

You could always take a screenshot and post that:

Press the Print Screen button.
Open up MS Paint or a similar program.
Paste the picture there.
Crop it to your liking.
Save as a .png or .jpg.
Put it on ImageShack or wherever you like to use.
Post on the forums.

The PrintScreen button's in the upper right of the keyboard in that second section above the arrow keys.

WOW!! So thats what that button does?? :P I was wondering if there was another uploader that did it... but thanks for the info.

Back in the really old days, the "Print Screen" button made an actual printout of the screen. Knowing keyboard shortcuts can make you powerful.

Or use the Export feature and save it as a .jpg or .png.

Ahhhhh. That would work out fine being that the Save As feature doesn't do that.
Thanks!!

Its the first time i've used the program so don't laugh :)

Anyone know why? . .Or have any links to information that would teach me how to make a 3d model?

Thats pretty sick looking. I'm trying to get better with the program but its kinda rough at first. Also I found that if you go to google, you can find peices that people have made like fans and such.

I've downloaded sketchup and used it enough to have some real respect for folks who can make nice pictures with it.

Thats crazy. How long have you been using the program?

Spawn-Inc

that was probably my 20th time using it maybe. its just a matter of learning its quirks and the tools properly, i still don't know how to use it fully though. the first time i tried it i was like wtf, got pissed off and uninstalled it. then i tried it again and got the hang of it for the most part.

i still don't know how to have an area filled in without connecting it with lines. if you look at the upside down view (blue and white) you can see i had to add a line on the one side and not the other to get it to fill in an area. (i think that makes sense)
