Damn I like the look of those with the led's. If i had not just purchased a 4gb set of OCZ platinum, I would by a couple sets...

Nice find!

got a set of these... ill get some pics up when i get photoshop installed

these are really cool, honestly i hate 5000 blinking light style ram modulaes and these arent one of them, they cast a nice blue glow from the bottom of the heat spreader which honestly looks fantastic, light up some stuff around it nicely. and its a bargain in combo with the foxconn board i got after rebates

That is some of the nicest looking RAM I've ever seen. Too bad I don't have enough to buy those right now. Maybe newegg will be nice and keep stocking them, instead of them being limited.

+rep for the awesome find

Question:

I am not familiar with good quality RAM, but will this RAM be good for a gaming computer? will I need heat spreader for this RAM?

This would be great RAM for a gaming computer. Several users on newegg apparently got it up to DDR2 1000, which is a very nice overclock.

No, you won't need a heatspreader, it comes with one that says Newegg Lanfest '07 on it along with some cool blue LEDs.

+rep btw. I seriously hope I can get a set.

I'm screwed on the deal because paypal is holding my money because....

Remaining Monthly Limit:
$0.00 USD

Which is friggin' ridiculous... I was under the assumption that the monthly limit reset every turn of the month... So now I have to wait 3 weeks to get my money in my account.

I agree.
Also never knew that about paypal, since I still havent made one yet. I'll write a note about that.

I contacted paypal and it's actually reset on whatever day you made your account. How effin' stupid is that?

I also had a problem using paypal with Newegg saying I didn't had enough funds which was ridiculous since I knew I had more than enough since I made a deposit that morning, so I just went ahead and use my debit card.

EDIT: Another question, I may want to buy a couple of this sets, does the mail in rebate applies to each of the sets or its just a one time thing?

newegg takes paypal!? Maybe I do have a chance to get a set :o)

Note: I'm pretty sure it's for each set, up to 10 sets. It'd be pretty sweet for resell to make a quick buck.

EDIT::

I did a little looking on newegg and there are quite a bit of deals going on right now for ram. MIR's<3

Question:

My RAM (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146108) is rated for

Timing 4-4-3-10
Voltage 1.9V - 2.1V

and the newegg RAM calls for

Timing 4-4-4-12
Voltage 2.2V

This means I can't use them, correct?

Yes. And no.

You might be able to use them. The Mushkin would underclock itself and run at 800MHz with 4-4-4-12 timings. The other RAM could be undervolted to 2.1 and probably be fine. But then you'd have one set underclocked and at a high voltage, and another undervolted for the maximum clock speed.

You can try it, but if it doesn't work stably then it's your loss, and not my fault :D. Consider that a "try at your own risk".

A lot of buzz about this memory. It IS an amazing deal. Only if I had a rig in which to apply these too :(

Exactly what I was thinking Mal which is why I'm worried... but...

I want them so bad :o( Maybe I can use them for my server tower build that I still haven't done much with. I'm still procrastinating on painting it... for some reason painting stresses me out because I KNOW a damn bug will land on it or something will get on it! Plus you never think paint is such a big deal price wise until you realize you need:

metal primer
metal paint
plastic primer
plastic paint
ass load of sand paper
rivets
rivet gun
clear coat
masking tape

:o(

Sorry about all the questions lol, but the last one I have is if you guys think this RAM will go up in value after the supplies run out? will it be much? I may be thinking on buying 2 sets one for me and one to sell it later on.
