Unbelievable. This game looks absolutley amazing. This demo should give you a good idea as to whether you need an upgrade for the retail version. I ran it on my X800XL and it ran very well.

Hmm - might just be my imagination (or the fact that I haven't played it in a couple years) but that guy in the bottom screenshot reminds me of the bloke in freelancer - the one you see smoking on the landing area early on in the game.... Cept now I think about it - he was skinnier and had lighter hair - or did he.... (I'm 9 1/2 hours into a 10 hour night shift so i'm allowed to be a little fuzzy)

I forgot to comment on this game. But i absolutely love it. Two parts gave me major goosebumps it was awsome! If you havent tried it you should everyone i know who has tried it loves it!

playd it.. runs poorly on my p4 3.0ghz, 1gig rammed, geforce fx 5900 ultra (256 mb), and just can't figure out why.. even at low res and detailes, still has an extremely lof fps-entage and every other game runs smoothly on max res and detailes... i know it's a beta demo, but c'mon... what the hell?

that game if frickin awesome. i downloaded the demo when it was released. my graphics suck. i have a radeon 5800 :(

Loved the game but man, I get too absorbed in these things and practically jump out of my chair when something scary happens. Same thing happened with Doom all the time way back when - some monster jumps around a corner yelling and slobbering and I pop back. Can't really play this kind of stuff for all too long...

heh.. I've played that demo about 5 times by now, and I still jump when the big guy crashes through the door, when alma runs by. It just freaks me out. Sierra and Monolith did a great job with that demo, and I bet hte game will be 100 times better.

Whao, this looks intense. I need to get some surround sound speakers for this now too. Playing with 10 year old stereo headphones just ain't cuttin it anymore.
