Want to make HDD activity led into 2

I want to make my HDD activity LED into 2 leds. Can I just use the same size or should I go smaller? Will they stay as bright if I use the same size? What size is a standard HDD led in a cheapo case?

Size depends on you, and the brightness depends on what MCD you buy and what your current led is. I suggest changing them both with the same spec led to retain the same brightness. 2600ish MCD will be a good light level. Standard leds are usually 5000.

My LEDs are 3mm. And probally whats in your case aswell. Just take a ruler to them.
