Is an exhaust a normal fan but upside down?
thx...
if not what do u recommend
its just pushing air out of your case instead of taken it in, so yes it is:)... but you will have to have a "flow" in your case to get the best cooling
from front to back is the most normal:)

If you look at a normal fan you can usually find two arrows on the side of it, one indicates which way the fans are spinning and the other indicates which way the air is going. If you can't find this then take another look at the fan. The side with the "struts" on it leading to the center of the fan (the LED's are usually mounted hear) is what I would classify as the rear of the fan, the air gets forced through the rear of the fan. Another way to tell is the front of the fan always has a domed sort of "cap" on the front.
Answering your question. Yes an exhaust fan is a normal fan just upside down.
Intake = Drawing air
Exhaust = Expelling air
