Hey Guys, I'm back with a very small mod. I know i should be working on my others, but this actually got done :P. I just installed all my new audio equipment
including my Amp which powers all the speakers in the car. Just a quick little show piece for the car.

I basically just got a piece of 1/4" clear plexi and cut it to size, then drilled holes for the amp to fit onto it.

After securing the amp onto the plexi i could place it into the trunk.

After i bolted the piece of plexi onto one of the pieces in the trunk, it was basically done.

Thats pretty much it. I'm thinking about wiring LED's to the board to give it more appeal but we'll see.

Yeah, bassbeat LED's were an idea i was thinking. I currently have a Pioneer head unit with USB out. The cable is run into my glove box, where a 60 gig usb powered external HD sits with all my music. Its a nice set up

Is that a v-power series? I've got a 2 channel 140w rms for my two door speakers. I get 100% volume with no distortion, they're decent amps for sure.

Yeah its the v-power series, its a 4 channel, and i have 4 6.5" Alpine Type S speakers running off them. And they also play 100% volume with no distortion, so much bass i dont even need a sub lol. Definitily worth buying

I think it's mounted in his trunk, so I would suggest the answer is no. Especially this time of year if winter's going to bring his area a significant drop in temperature. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure all of the v-power series amps have thermal protection. Most modern amps do.

You stand correct a. Bird you know your stuff, +rep. Theres a ton of thermal grease inside the hardware of the amp, and the cooling mechanism, the heat sinks, are facing my trunk. And yes it gets cold as helll in philadelphia

Hi. My name is Rick, and I'm addicted to LED's. They adorn everything I own, and if something doesn't yet have LED's attached to it that only means that I'm waiting on a new shipment from LS Diodes. It's been 7 days since I've last attached an LED to something, and if I don't get my fix soon, I'm afraid of what might happen. I can only take solice in the fact that I know that someone, somewhere is lighting something up with an LED. And while I wish I could be there in person to assist and provide feedback, I am always there in spirit.
