Tbcs Irc?

Do we have an IRC channel on any servers? If not, do we want to? I'm on IRC daily (more often than I'm on forums now) and I think it'd be cool if we could have a TBCS IRC chatroom.

So if you all think it's a nifty idea, I could go ahead and make us a chatroom on Rizon, since they've got really good services.

What do you all think?

IRC = Internet Relay Chat

It's a protocol for chatting basically, you download a client and connect up to a server then join channels and chat, there's other stuff like xdcc filesharing and so forth.

I'll make the chan soon enough. I have a bot that I could leave running to mod the chan, too.

Channel's open, bot's in it (both the rizon bot and my winbot). For now, while I'm in the channel, I'll mod it while getting my winbot set up the rest of the way.

I don't know enough about irc to approve an official room but we do have the teamspeak set up and ready to be used for live chats on our own server, beats typing anyway.

Rizon is a big network that's got TONS of servers, sometimes one or multiple are full.

I usually have no problem on irc.xstaticsolutions.com:6667
