Dude, that is freakin cool! It's so cool I almost hesitate to recommend modding it....almost.

But you might want to find out if it's valuable first, looks like it could be.

although that 1 seems to be much older than these.

If you use front panel bay-style audio controls that come with some of the soundblasters you could use that as some type of volume, fan, mic gain, etc...

Yea, Thats what I was thinking. . If I could figure out how to wire up the selection knobs to control something. .
