Well, since that forum we we could sell stuff is gone, I was told putting it on Ebay and linking it would be alright. So, I'm selling my digital camera. I haven't used it in months, ever since I bought my new digital SLR.

I was thinking of asking $150 (USD), but since shipping will be like $20 I decided to make it just $130. Included is a 512MB SD card, and all of the accessories for the camera.

Here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330183901871

Let me know any questions you hav about it.

Prices on cameras diminish even faster than computers. Check it out man (http://cgi.ebay.com/MINOLTA-DIMAGE-G500-5-0-MEGAPIXEL-DIGITAL-CAMERA_W0QQitemZ270182054555QQihZ017QQcategoryZ485 40QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).

Oh come on, like last month I've seen it for around what I'm selling it for. It was like $400 when originally purchased. And that's just the cheapest one listed on Ebay. There's another one on there for like $100, but mine includes the SD card and all of that. I would say $130 is reasonable.

I feel your pain... I bought a Kodak EasyShare V550 for almost 400 bucks and a week later they came out with a new version. I was PISSED. I just checked and I can only get about 100 bucks for my camera now.

Well, on Amazon, a refurbished Minolta DiMAGE G500 is $115, and I'm not even sure if that comes with everything. But I know the people here if they really want this would rather support me than some other random company on ebay :)

As for new things coming out, I've been a little more lucky in that. I bought a 7950 GX2 together with the rest of the parts for my new computer back at the end of September last year. Like the next month, the 8800GTX was released. So there I was, stuck with no longer the newest thing, and now there was a card with DirectX 10 support. But luckily it was made by eVGA and I then learned of their step-up program. I was able to just trade it the 7950GX2 and get back an 8800GTX, which I've had since.

Actually, the thing about that is I was originally going to get a card made by XFX, but I kept having issues with Newegg charging me. By the time it was all sorted out, the XFX one was sold out, so I went with eVGA. And because of that little incident I was able to step-up to an 8800GTX once it came out.

Well this is just ****ing wonderful. I finally had a bid on my camera. He bid with 1.5 hours left. Now there are 5 minutes left and I get an e-mail.

"This email is to inform you that any recent bids placed by ldavis4224 may have been by an unauthorized third party. We are now in the process of restoring the account to its true owner.

If this person was the winning bidder for the transaction then the transaction in question should be considered null and void. You may relist the item and request a credit for the Final Value Fee. When a seller submits a final value fee credit request, unpaid Items are automatically identified by our system. Our system will then keep records of the credit requests that are received from sellers regarding transactions that were not completed. "

So now I have to list it all over again, and I don't get the money...

Don't you just love scammers and identity theft? One more reason why I plan to avoid eBay for as long as possible. Good luck with relisting it dude.

I never wanted to use Ebay, I just want to get rid of it and need some money. Ebay was the only answer really though. I myself never actually use ebay aside from this here.

Stupid scammers. Do they not have something better to do to earn money and stuff? Seriously. It's just a damn camera too, lol.

Yea, I only sell stuff on ebay, never buy. If I want to buy something, I'll just save my money up until I have enough and buy the real thing over the counter. Unless its through Newegg or Amazon and sometimes Tiger Direct.

Damn Nigerian scammers, they are the worse kind of scammer, but only because they're so damn persist at it. I'd give them props if they weren't so horrible at what they do. lol I mean jeeze, the second I see the word Nigerian, I'm out of there like a fart in the wind. So... idk, maybe its just me, but I'd start thinking a little more cleverer.

In other news, I just learned that my neighbor is a scammer. Which makes sense to me now on how he could afford to live up here by himself in his huge freaking house. Supposedly he makes "bank" doing what he does, but he's supposedly very good at what he does too.

Get this, my father actually told me that I should talk to him about how to get into his business. He's a scammer man! Yea, but he makes good money. Yea, thats true, but HES A SCAMMER! Aren't you the one who yells at the phone seventeen times a day because of people like him? Dur dur dur!! lol

Hahaha, wow. Before scamming people you'd think they'd actually LEARN English. I'm glad that they don't because it makes it easier to tell it from the real thing, lol.

The stereotyping in this thread is rampant, its like a club against nigerians.

There was a guy in england who wanted to scam my family through western union, its not only in nigeria.

But that email is classic. "WE HAVE JUST RECEIVED A MAIL!"

"YOU ARE BROKEN EBAY LAW!"
man, that's nearly sig-able. Love it.
