It may be long, but learning it is one of the best things you can do, the Pen Tool IS Photoshop.

Also i have 30 pages (yes 30 A4 pages) of Photoshop stuff i am slowly putting together in one huge tutorial, it was for my college project but if i can help people with it i will.

It's a nice job, just some quick tips to help you out, i'm not trying to put you down im just helping you out so the next time they get better and better, everyone was a beginner once.

Anyway, the cut out as i mentioned read my tutorial above, it will help you alot.

I can see there is like a yellowy colour in there you have tried to rub out or paint over, i can see your brush is set quite hard, try dropping down the hardness, that fades the edges off and makes things look nicer, and helps in blending.

With the reflections i admit they are nicely done, better then some of my first but, realistically the reflection line should all be from the same spot, you wouldn't have a reflection from a higher object right below it, and a lower one again (if you get what i mean)
So do the reflection at the end after the image has been completed by flipping the whole image (preserving the original) then placing it below, it will look more realistic.

As i said though it's a good start for a beginner. Especially if you're self taught, its always easier to pick it up being taught but you then never do it your own way.
