Microsoft said it was basically the best thing after sliced bread.

Well that really shows how much they know.

It's security is so advanced is a pain in the fu****g ass. I disabled UAC, although on EVERY login it still moans about it, god damn it windows i don't care i can look after my own friggin PC.

Doesn't like MSN atall.

Now i have my Wacom tablet, i get to experience the all new advanced features supported for tablets, well done microsoft you f'ed it all up again.

Now when i had a cheap tablet in XP i never had any stupid issues like this.

The 'Pen Flicks' program to make the pen do things easily is a waste of space and time, and i have found NO way atall of disabling it, and i need to it's messing with my work in Photoshop, EVERY time you try something it tries (even though i set all penflickcrap moves to none) to make something of it when all i want to do is draw. so i end up with it all going wrong, im no pro with my tablet yet but this is lame.
This s*** also makes every contact with the tablet a click, well thats no god damned use when i wish to make dots, just dots not dashes in Photoshop, so i can not make dots.

I've looked into the Wacom stuff and i can't sort it out.

So if anyone out there can help me with this dumb ass software/program and help me disable it, destroy it (because it's worse than any virus or spyware ever), then ill be very grateful.

And if i have to i may just install XP and use Vista for my games because they're already installed.

But if any Microsoft staff find this, punch Bill Gates in his face. Please.
No offense but think things through idiot.

I hate Windows, but i don't like Macs and Linux always ruins my Hard drives, so well perhaps i should just not use PCs.

I have no clue how to disable it... did it come installed with Vista or did it come on the driver disc for your tablet?

I know how it is, I used a laptop that should've played WoW on full with a framerate of 30+ and it got about 15fps on low. Vista is a pain. It lagged like hell with 1GB RAM and it didn't improve much with 2GB... /Vista Rant

Good luck finding a solution. I"ll watch and chime in when I think of something...

I have vista also, its sitting in its nice little plastic coffin waiting for a decent service pack before it ever see's the flicker of led light from my computer ever again.

How's this to add to the trouble.

Step1: buy vista and install
Dang, vist blows goats... Lets see if there are any updates...
Step2: update vista, nope; register first.
Step2: register vista and update.
WTF? Vista Is Blowing A Flock Of Goats!!!
Step3:Return Vista
Q: Did you register this software? A: I had to before i could update it.
Sly remark: You know you cant return registered software sir...
Step4: Toss vista in the desk and wait 1-? years...

Its too bad it wasnt company stock, then there'd be a glimmer of hope to getting some sort of rembursment out of this trash.

Sorry i couldnt be of any help with your pen problem.

I managed to uninstall some of the stuff and disable Pen Flicks, a option appeared in the dialogue which never existed before i turned off some of the stuff, but it's still being a pain.

Damn Microsoft.

How to upgrade to Vista:

1. Buy Vista.
2. Open Package.
3. Insert disk into a paper shredder.
4. Install complete!

(Re-install XP).

Knew i did something wrong.

Updated to some newer drivers and it seems to all be working fine now. No more windows messing with the right-click stuff.

I've never seen such a problem... or heard of this pen flicker..... sorry Scotty, but I think you caused the problem, not microsoft!

(Seriously, I installed Vista onto a friend's machine and he's got no complaint when using his Intous 3)

I probably did, Pen Flicks came with my Vista and it was causing some issues. But after i updated drivers it fixed. The drivers i had were like 5.8 and latest are 6.5 or something lol, i was only a bit behind.
