Issue with taking screenshots in games

Lately, whenever I take screenshots in games, using prtscn, it just displays whatever is in the window underneath the game, and a little tab for the game in the top left. Using Fraps doesn't work either. When it take a screenshot with it, it just doesn't take it, and no file shows up in the Fraps folder.

try holding down alt+print screen, it should only take a picture of the active window, even if its not maximized.
